Short notes for private beta users.

Focused setup and troubleshooting notes for the current beta.

What is DreamNAS?

DreamNAS is a private beta regional gateway service for self-hosted NAS and homelab web portals.

Cloudflare Tunnel hostnames, HTTPS dynamic DNS hostnames, self-hosted HTTPS entries, and existing NAS web portals.

DreamNAS can evaluate regional entry points by carrier, location, upstream availability, and private beta monitoring.

Create or reuse a Tunnel hostname for your NAS web interface, confirm it loads, and configure it during onboarding.

Start with the region that best matches your network. Results may vary by ISP and time.

Use strong passwords, enable 2FA, avoid default admin accounts, and keep firmware updated.

Check the upstream endpoint first, then compare region choice and certificate status.
